Archive of Mixmag Covers 1991-2009
Mixmag is a magazine that I have a monthly subscription to. I have looked at various Mixmag covers to see how the magazine varies the design and colour scheme of the front cover each issue. My research shows that usually the masthead is white, but occasionally it is a different colour in order to fit in with the chosen colour scheme. The masthead is also very simple - it is all lower case and a plain font. It is often slightly covered up by the image on the cover, which works because it is a recognisable and well-known name. Below is a link to a cover archive that I found on Mixmag's website which I found useful for my research into the conventions of a music magazine.
